I am a fan of Rammstein since Sehnsucht - which remains my favorite album, still - not only because of nostalgia. My fan life consists of: 1 gig, all albums on CDs and 2 posters (eaten by my dog - which is a fine end for a Rammstein poster).
Rammstein speaks to me on varied levels. As you probably noticed, my favorite songs are Ramm's darkest ones. I truly admire the band for speaking about social and criminal issues in such a raw and moving way. Rammstein doesn't cower from delving into the abyss. The music that accompanies the listener's descent into darkness is as raw as the words. While melodic, the bass and Till's deep voice create a mood that cannot be faked.
