"The Girl Who Waited and Raggedy Man"

Amy first meets the Doctor when she is 7 years old after he crash-lands the TARDIS in her garden. He promises he’ll return in 5 minutes, but instead comes back 12 years later. Because of this, Amy grows up believing he’s her “imaginary friend.”
When Amy starts traveling with him, they become close companions exploring time and space together. They rely on each other emotionally and often save each other. Early on, Amy briefly develops romantic curiosity toward the Doctor. However, this fades as her relationship with Rory Williams becomes the central romance of her life.
The Doctor is extremely protective of Amy, almost like an older brother or guardian. Amy also keeps the Doctor emotionally grounded and calls him out when he becomes too arrogant or reckless.
The Doctor and Amy are best friends with a powerful emotional connection, built on childhood wonder, loyalty, and shared adventures.
